'The Medicine Game' to Premiere Tuesday Night

A documentary highlighting the lives of Onondaga Nation brothers Jeremy and Jerome "Hiana" Thompson premieres to a national television audience Tuesday night.

"America ReFramed: The Medicine Game," produced by former Syracuse students Lukas Korver and Jason Halpin, follows the brothers over the course of seven years, as they embark on a journey from the Onondaga reservation and LaFayette (N.Y.) High School that they hope will end by accomplishing their goal of playing lacrosse at Syracuse.

The film will be shown on PBS affiliates across the country at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday. Local listings can be found here.

Jeremy and Jerome are the older brothers of current Albany attackman and 2013 Tewaaraton Award finalist Lyle Thompson.

Only Jeremy played for the Orange, but the brothers led Onondaga Community College to a pair of NJCAA national titles. Jeremy transferred to Syracuse for his junior season.
