Vote Lacrosse in ESPN the Magazine Fansourced Issue Poll

by Lane Errington | LaxMagazine.com | Twitter

ESPN the Magazine is giving readers the opportunity to call the shots on its upcoming “Fansourced” issue. Lacrosse is listed as one of five under-covered sports by the magazine. Fans can encourage lacrosse coverage by voting for the sport in a poll with wrestling, motorcross, rugby and softball.

As of early Tuesday morning, lacrosse has some work to do, trailing wrestling (65%) and motocross (21%) in third place with 12% of the vote.

Fans can help the sport make a leap in the standings by visiting ESPN.com/Fansourced and answering the question “Which sport not usually covered by ESPN do you most want to read about in The Mag?” Click “Lacrosse” and share your vote on Twitter to encourage friends and fans of the sport vote as well.

You can also reply to the tweet below with #FanSourced and #Lacrosse to cast your vote.

Most recently, ESPN aired 43 games from the 2014 FIL World Championship on its family of networks, including ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and the ESPN Player.
