Drexel Player in Critical Condition After Accident
Brendan Glynn, a senior attackman for the Drexel men's lacrosse team, remained in critical condition Wednesday at a Philadelphia hospital after being struck by a car Sunday morning, according to PhillyLacrosse.com. The accident occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 36th Street and Chestnut Street.
Glynn, 22, was crossing the street against the light when the car hit him, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian. He was taken to the hospital at the University of Pennsylvania, where he continues to be treated.
Glynn, who grew up nearby in Villanova, Pa., scored 26 goals and had 11 assists as a starter for the Dragons in 2012.
