U.S. National Team Weekend Roundup

US Lacrosse's Nathaniel Badder oversees all aspects of — except for coaching and playing on — the four U.S. national teams. And he monitors Team USA players' in the college game as well. Here's a roundup of notable weekend performances from U.S. national teamers.

U19 Assistant Crawford Leads Loyola Blakefield (Md.) Over Boys' Latin (Md.)
2012 U.S. U19 Men's Assistant Jack Crawford leads Loyola Blakefield (Md.) back from the brink to take down previously undefeated Boys' Latin 10-9 in the MIAA A Conference Championship.

U19 Goalie Turri Helps Bring Duke to Final Four
2012 U.S. U19 Men's goalie Kyle Turri only made two saves, but it was enough to propel Duke past Notre Dame — and U19 teammate Matt Kavanagh (three goals, three assists) — 12-11 and into NCAA final four for the seventh straight year.

WOMEN
USA Well-Represented on All-Amercian List
Team USA was well represented when the IWLCA released its list of collegiate All-Americans, including first-team selections Katie Schwarzmann (2013 U.S. Women), Becca Block, Brittany Dashiell, Mikey Meagher, and Iliana Sanza (2012 U.S. Women), Taylor Thornton and Kara Cannizzaro (2011 U.S. Women), and Barb Sullivan and Kayla Treanor (2011 U.S. U19 Women).

Former U19er Sindall Anchors UNC Defense
2011 U.S. U19 Women's defender Caileigh Sindall anchored a Tar Heels defense which slowed down Virginia enough for North Carolina to advance to the final four.

Treanor Leads Syracuse Past Florida
2011 U19 Women's attacker Kayla Treanor's three second-half points (four overall) pushed Syracuse past Florida and into the final four.
