US Lacrosse has unveiled the first and only interactive widget dedicated to the sport of lacrosse that incorporates news and video game action.
The US Lacrosse Widget, powered by Lacrosse Magazine, is a downloadable desktop widget that provides RSS news feeds from Lacrosse Magazine Online and has the ability to sort news by men’s and women’s lacrosse and by NCAA division, Major League Lacrosse and National League Lacrosse news. It also has RSS feeds with scores so you can keep tabs on your favorite teams.
The best part of the USL Widget is the built-in virtual Wall
Ball game (see below). Click on "Wall Ball" and the game expands
into a full screen virtual wall. Pick either the men’s or
women’s 3-D stick to start the game. Use the mouse to throw
and catch, while getting points for hitting targets on the wall.
